Is God an afterthought?

So much of the time when Christians go through trials or make decisions, good or bad, they don't include God. They may even pray for guidance, but they don't stick around long enough to actually hear what God had to say about the matter. Or, they hear, but don't do, and when things start going south, then they want to consult with God.

When you choose your own way, trouble and frustration are inevitable. Stop treating God like an afterthought or last resort. It needs to be God first.

It takes faith and trust to include God in our affairs, but so worth it. Think about it: if God is leading you step by step, and you are following those steps, victory is inevitable. You might run into a hiccup or two, but God sees the hiccup and He will get you around it. We don't know more than God and He sees what we can't see. He loves us and has only good for us. That is way better than what we could ever do on our own.

Seek the Kingdom of God first, above all else, and He will give you everything you need. {Matt. 6:33} NLT Need extra support or an accountability partner? I would love to work with you. Connect with me for your free Discovery Call to get started.
